The Bible Says in John 3:16-18 God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes in God's Son Jesus Christ is not condemned: but he that does not believe in Him is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

If you are ready to make the greatest decision of your life by committing yourself to the God who created you & loves you so much & has a perfect plan & destiny for your life, Pray this prayer to God telling Him that You accept Him & that you officially choose to follow Him, & His ways, ask Him to forgive you for your sins against Him & others – If you like, follow the prayer below & pray it to God with sincerity, but remember it must be prayed from your heart, because God hears our hearts & knows if we really mean what we say or not. Also you must be willing to have a change of mind against sin & be willing to turn from the things you know you shouldn't be doing, God will help you with this if you are sincerely willing to truly follow God's way, this is what God calls repentance, it basically shows that we are truly sorry for our sins & are willing to forsake them from this day on, Remember God will help you with this, He will not leave you or forsake you.

 

The Prayer:
God, please forgive me for the sins I have committed against You and others,
I choose to believe and put my trust in Your Son Jesus Christ & I thank You for the price He paid to save me. Jesus I ask You now to please save me and fill me with The Holy Spirit, I give you control to lead me in all your ways, to change me and make me the person you want me to be. Thank You for accepting me & forgiving me. Amen

This is What God says in His Book - The Holy Bible: Luke 15:7 I say to you, that likewise joy will be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety nine just people, which do not need to repent. Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

 

Here Are Some Important Steps to Take In Your New Life In Jesus

Forgiveness:
Ask God to remind you of people that have wronged you & have sinned against you that you should forgive, as God was & is willing to forgive you & give you a clean slate & a fresh start,  (Note: This does not mean that what they have done to you or the way they have treated you was ok, What it means is you are choosing to forgive them for their wrongs against you even though they don't deserve it, as God himself has chosen to forgive you of the wrongs you have done against him & others even though we don't deserve it) I know this is one of the hardest steps for many of us to make but it's a necessity in our Christian walk. Jesus said: "If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins". Matt 6:14-15

 

Repentance: As I briefly wrote above you must be willing to repent which is to truly be willing to have a change of mind against sin, to confront sin for what it really is & accept that its not ok to willingly keep sinning, Also with God's help, stop doing the things you know you shouldn't do & to start living the way God said that you will find in the Bible, to sum up what that looks like & what that means, Jesus said it like this: “Do to others as you would want them to do for you” e.g. if you don't like being lied to, then don't lie to others, if you wouldn't want someone stealing from you, Then do not steal from others, if you wouldn't like someone talking badly behind your back (gossip), Then don't gossip about others, If you were in need & on the street hungry or cold you would be so grateful if someone would care enough to ask if you need help, or if they would buy you something to eat or a scarf for the cold weather or just to sit & talk with you for a bit! So when you see someone on the street or in real need, then do for them as you would have wanted someone to do for you if you were in there place.... God will help you with this as you take the steps & make the effort to live God's way. Be willing for God to change you & make you the person He created you to be. He loves you so much & has an amazing plan for your life.

 

Read The Holy Bible:
Buy a Holy Bible & start to read it every day. Why? Because it is God's instruction manual & answer Book which God will use to help you heaps & teach you His ways. God says in the Bible that when we read His words our faith grows and that His words are spiritual food, just as we need physical food daily to help sustain us and keep us strong and healthy etc... Rent The Passion of The Christ by Mel Gibson: Go to a video store & rent the movie “The Passion of The Christ by Mel Gibson” so you can get an understanding of what Jesus Christ the Son of God willingly went through for us so we can be saved, cleansed from sin & go to Heaven. It is an awesome movie!

 

Spend Time With God:
Start putting time aside for God like you would for your favourite show or the gym etc.. Go to your room or a place where you can be alone & spend time with God, start to speak to Him (that's what prayer is) & read the Bible, this is how we begin a real relationship with Him just like when we meet a new friend – the more time you spend with them alone the more you get to know & understand them, its the same with God. Always remember God didn't make religions up, People did, God wants a real relationship with us not religious rituals & traditions.

 

 
Christian Church: It is important to look for a Christian church to start attending. Why? Because being around others that also believe what you believe will help you & encourage you, this is very important in your journey with Jesus, I know sometimes we can also feel a bit awkward & maybe nervous going somewhere we have never been, but just pray to God before hand & ask Him to help you & guide you to the right church, then start looking for one. Look for one that feels alive when you walk in & in the church you find people singing & playing music to God, make sure the people seem genuine, loving & welcoming if they seem depressed & fake & unwelcoming then don't hesitate to leave, if you would like help with this please email us & we will help you find a good one in your area.

Water Baptism:

What does baptism mean? Baptism is a practise God has put in place for all who believe in Him to take part of, Baptism symbolises the death & burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ, so when we make a decision to become a Christian we make that declaration with an action of Baptism which God ordained. By being baptised you are saying to God that you choose to bury your old life with all it's sins with Jesus in His death that He paid for us & rise up as Jesus rose from the dead to live a new life for God in Jesus Christ His Son, a new beginning as a washed clean forgiven child of God.
Step 1: When we are to be baptised we are submersed completely under the water to symbolise that we are choosing to bury our old self with all the sins we committed in our past & surrender our life by putting our old self to death symbolically in baptism.
Step 2: When we come back up out of the water it symbolises a new beginning, a fresh start, washed clean & a start of a new life with Jesus Christ with our old self left behind, dead & buried & this new life we live for God in Jesus Christ. Rom 6:3-4, 2Cor 5:17-18
Why?: In the Bible once someone believed in Jesus they were to be baptised in water as a deceleration to that decision, it is like signing on the dotted line in agreement to a new contract to seal that contract. But it also has a powerful effect in the spiritual realm, see, the devil had his legal right to you before you came to Jesus but when you give up your old life with all it's past sins for a new one in Christ than the devil has no legal right to you because you belong to Jesus. Gal 3:26-27. This does not mean the devil will not attack any more or that everything will be simple but The Lord will show you & be there for you to help you withstand him & fight him back because now he comes illegally, God will help you not to be a victim to the devil any more but someone he fears, Jesus will always deliver you from the devil's attacks & He will give you the strength to make it through every hard time if you just trust Him & don't give up. Eph 6:11-18, James 4:7 

 

But what if I have already been Baptised when I was a baby?: To be baptised as a baby is not in the Bible, religious people just made that up many years ago, but that is not what Jesus taught, Jesus Christ said in Mark 16:16 in the Bible when we believe and are baptised we shall be saved, when we choose to get baptised it is a personal decision that we make to follow God, not someone else’s, notice that Jesus said when "we believe" - He emphesised that it was a personal thing we do, We come to God by our own choice and we make a personal decision to accept His offer of salvation & a new life by being baptised & so in this way you are making a conscious choice at a mature age to follow God because you really understand what it means, but when we are babies we have not personally made that choice to our God, but our parents did, although they love us & they meant well it's still not valid in God's eyes.
How Do I Get Baptised? When you start to attend a church, approach a leader there & tell them that you would like to be baptised & they will organise it for you.
